Botantical Gardens on a Beautiful day

What a beautiful day it was spending it with Gramma and the rest of the Watson clan. Gabriel and Isabel had a great time, but then again, Isabel slept thru most if it...until lunch time. She posed for a few pix with her hat on and her Gramma's lap.

9 weeks checkup for Isabella

Isn't she cute? A little chunky monkey. She loved looking at herself once she discovered the mirror on the other side of her. She is 13 lbs 9 oz and 23.75 inches long. That is about the 95th percentile range. She is solid and growing FAST! I had to break out the 6 month stuff for her to wear. She jumped past the 3 month stuff already. Unfortunately, she had to get 2 shots in the same thigh and I thought her head would explode. She turned a deep, bright red and cried her heart out. In the end, Grandpa helped her feel all better.

Isabella seems to have inherited her Papa's hairline. It actually goes all the way around to the other side. Poor baby! She rubs her little head when she is not happy or waking up from her beauty sleep.

EASTER!

It was another fun Easter day at Gramma's. This year there was a new face to the usual crowd...Isabel! She made her debut looking ever so cute in her little white dress. She was very happy and content sitting with her Gramma on a beautiful, warm spring day. Gabriel and Christiana got to go egg hunting again in the front yard. Gramma's perfectly manicured lawn made it easy picking of the colorful little eggs.

Easter Party and Egg hunt @ school

Gabriel went to school today to join in his class festivities for Easter. They made pita bunnies with fluff and peanut butter. I wanted to take a photo of his, but Gabriel decided to cop and attitude and threw the bunny's ears off before I could do anything. Then he didn't want anything to do with the Bunny. He did however have a very good time egg hunting in the school field. All his classmates had a blast finding the eggs and it allowed them to burn off some extra kiddie energy. At the last part of the class day, they all got to wear the bunny ears. Gabriel's didn't fit right cause he would not let the teacher measure his head. Then it was impossible to get a group photo because of who else...Gabriel! He didn't want to keep his on nor did he want to get in the group shot. Pain in the bunny butt.

Isabella @ 7 weeks

Isabella is getting so big! She is a cutie and a very good little girl. She has baby acne right now and so her face looks a little red, dry and blotchy. She is still a cutie no matter what. She looks at your face and will smile when she sees you. She has cheeks that spread like melted butter when she is laying down. When she is sitting up they sag. This is the only time in life that those things are desirable features! Gabriel is interested in her and likes to give her "kisses", but I don't think Isabella is all that impressed with him attacking her head all the time.
