Happy Halloween@ 75+degrees!

Gabriel digging through his goodies.
Halloween was a hot one. Gabriel really enjoyed running up to the houses and getting goodies from people. He was just running and running...all from no nap and not wanting to eat dinner. He was always on the move that it was very hard to get a good photo of him especially when it got dark. That basket was heavy, but he still insisted on carrying it. He was also really into carrying the glow stick in the other hand. Thank goodness I brought the stroller.

Marika went as Domo and Markus the banana.
Ming was so warm he needed to get a lift on the stroller for a bit. The video shows how Gabriel was the entire time out trick or treating. He was so excited he pretty much ran the entire time and often forgot to get the candy. He insisted on carrying his pumpkin, even when it got really heavy. Poor guy ended up getting some chafing from all that walking and running around in the warm weather. I'll have to post a video of that later. Pretty funny stuff. Poor baby.

Leah gets her own Halloween post

It doesn't get any cuter then this people. She was in the chicken costume that Gabriel wore as an infant and she looks so adorable!!! Next year baby Isabella's turn at being a chick! She passed out half way through trick or treating, but her father was still getting candy for her(or him?). When we were all through, she woke up and got to sample a piece of her goody with her Grandma.

Look at those legs! She can be the next Chik-fil-A mascot. Moove over cows

Hunk-A Hunk-A burning Chafe

This is Gabriel after trick or treating. He was chafed on both inner thighs, but the right side was the worst. You can see him messing with it as he tried to dance and shake his butt. He pretty much kept his legs open in that "V" stance for the rest of the night and half the the next day. He was walking around the house like he was crippled and was using the furniture to get around on one leg. He pretty much fell to the ground while getting out of bed. Thank goodness for Desitin overnight ointment.

Yurt Pooing

This was from September when Matthew was home and we were in the yurt in Asheville, NC. Gabriel went into the bathroom to do his "business". I shot this over the wall partition so we could see what he is doing when he runs off and hides. It was really funny cause he could see the cellphone over the wall, but as you can see he just kept doing his thing.

Gabriel the Great Pumpkin

Gabriel had his 1st Halloween party in preschool. He wasn't too happy in the beginning and cried and had a fit. I finally got him to put on the pumpkin costume and when he realized it was CANDY being given out. He eventually warmed up to the strangers(teachers). He was so cute as were his classmates.

Gramma Watson also came to the Halloween party and got to enjoy seeing Gabriel being good and bad while in school. The kids had a little party afterwards. The candy was the big hit but the cupcakes were very popular and messy. You can see Gabriel checking out his little bounty of treats.

Here are some photos of Gabriel playing with some of his classmates. He is the youngest at 2.5years of age, but the largest of them all. He had a really great time on the school playground running and eventually playing football with the kindergartners. Well he was just interested in taking the football and throwing it. The video is of him and his classmates running to get rid of all that toddler energy! If only we could bottle it and sell it.

Playing outside

Gabriel likes to go outside the front of the house and play. Today he decided to lay on the driveway to play with his trains. Atleast he likes bathtime.

Wirehead

Gabriel insisted on heading over to the neighbors house. Haley came out to play and Gabriel decided that the wire hanging backets looked like something fun to play with. He is so funny. Crazy kid.

Gabriel and the rocks

Gabriel likes to throw the rocks from the front yard...just waiting for the day he blows out my car window.

Thomas in the Desert.

Thomas in a rut. Gabriel loves his sand table. He gathers his train and runs to the front door to let me know he wants to go out and play. Sometimes I have to remind him to put on his pants before he can go outdoors. Thoms and the caboose get a good washing everynight at bathtime before they too go to bed with us.

Gabriel@the new Busch Gardens waterpark

I found this photo on the cellphone from about April fthis year. It is such a great (and rare) front photo of Gabriel-the turtle is cute too. It was at Busch Gardens. They don't let you play on top of the water/rock thing anymore so I wanted to post it on the blog for all to see.

Gabriel Loves Visiting Gramma's House

Gabriel loves going out back and playing in Gramma's yard. He really loves the sandbox and making a mess.
Gabriel got a goodies bag from Christiana's Grandmother from out of town. Very very nice of her to remember Gabriel on Halloween! Here he is shoveling the chocolate Teddy Grahams in his mouth.
Here is Gabriel rummaging through the treat bag he got from Christiana's Grandmother.
Pretty obvious, Gabriel was sitting on his little cousin. She was trying to get up but he wasn't letting up. He eventually tried to lay back like she was a recliner.
Ahhh. Gabriel attacking another one of his cousins...Marika. See a pattern here? Rotten booger.
A video to see the kids live and in action. Christiana was doing something Gramma didn't approve of. Gabriel had to get in on the action.

Baby Leah's new set of teeth.

Baby Leah is teething and look at them choppers! I am not sure where she got them from, but I think it is from her mother's side. I think she needs to see the dentist about this.

Fall Harvest Festival @ the Farmer's Market

Gabriel admiring the beautiful pumpkins. I do believe orange is a favorite color of his...hence his love for "Kiki"
I was surprised that Gabriel willing put his head through this since I don't think he knew what he was setting himself up for. He looks so cute.

Gabriel LOVED the maze and kept running through it over and over again. He really liked the other kids that were in there too and would follow them. You could just barely see his head over the top of the haystacks.
This one is for his Papa. Gabriel riding on a John Deere tractor.(cue in the male grunting noise please...)

Gabriel and his cousin Christiana giving each other Hi-5's before the start of the Harvest Festival. It was a cold and windy day, but bundled up, we all had a great time.

Finally, a video of Gabriel and his cousin being sweet and loving. If you listen closely, you will hear them saying "Trick or Treat".

Baby Isabella

Here is the latest photo of Isabella @ 23 weeks. She is sticking her tongue out in this profile shot. She is VERY active and likes to sit right on my bladder-then kick! She weighs 1 pound 7 oz today and her heart looked good in the ultrasound.

Pumpkin Licking

Gabriel really really liked this little pumpkin. Out of all of them, this one tasted the best I guess. We went to the fall Harvest festival at the Farmer's Market. It was a cold day but we all had a great time. I decided to make this a separate posting of the same day since he was so into this pumpkin. As you would guess, since bringing it home he pretty much has ignored it. Typical male.

Look what my Papa taught me!

Ok, we can all blame Matthew for teaching Gabriel how to do this. Terrible.

The Childrens' Festival

Gabriel headed out with his Gramma and little cousin to enjoy the Children's' festival. It started out rainy, but eventually the sun came out and the day was nice. Gabriel was very hesitant at first. He managed to find a "friend" at one of the tables and was hugging on Clifford for a while. Then, he warmed up to Whyatt from Super Why and kept going back to give him Hi-5's. The PBS tent was a big hit and he loves looking at all the stickers and paperwork we got from there that has all his favorite characters from that channel.

Gabriel holding on to a wet Clifford for comfort. Then he was busy reading and looking at all the characters from his shows on PBS. He did not like the loud music nor the microphone and had to leave the area when the Electric Company show came on. Oh well.

Gabriel's First Artwork from Preschool!

Gabriel's first piece of art from school. It proudly sits in the middle of the fridge for all to see. He waves at it and says "Hi" to it. I think, he thinks it is a face. A bit creepy cause it does.

Early morning social

Here is Gabriel and Ming first thing in the morning while Gabriel mentally prepares himself for school. Poor Mingming had no idea his personal space was going to be invaded. Eventually Gabriel did his sneaky surprise attack on him and tried to go for his leg and tail.
