It was time for Papa to go back to Jordan. Here are some photos at the airport while we waited in the Starbucks. The sofas in there are WAY more comfy. Matthew was getting annoyed that I was acting like a tourist, but hey, it is the Asian in me. I can't help myself. Gabriel was facinated with their bullet shaped trash cans and of course their neon-like signage inside the airport. I have a video of Gabriel doing his thing at check in. I will have to see if the site will let me upload it. Gabriel wanted to follow his Papa down the long security corridor and didn't like me holding him back as his Papa walked away.

Hello Kitty - Miss Cassidy's Birthday Party
It was Cassidy's 4th birthday party and Hello Kitty was the theme. I managed to get her right after her mother comforted her. Baby Campbell, on the otherhand, was all about staring at the camera with anyone that was holding her. The one of Campbell and I was taken in the bathroom mirror. She didn't mind it and thought it was interesting. We are doing something "artsy" here. hahaha. I don't think anyone has taken a photo of her that way. I WANT ANOTHER BABY!!! She is so fat and cute I just want to chew on her arms and legs. Gabriel, true to form, did his little vomiting trick at the top of the stairs. He does it often enough that I am going to have to get a portable carpet cleaner and keep it in the car. It was a mess! I am not sure what is up with that kid. Afterwards, he was great and acted like nothing has happened. What in the world? He did like all the toys at the house. Just in case, Matthew decided he needed to squeeze my belly fat for our photo together. We had a great time and I think "baby fat" was just the right medicine to help Gramma forget about her cough. It was nice not having to do anything at a birthday party...

"Clorox clean up in aisle 4 please!".
Gabriel LOVES these particular Clorox wipe containers. He is just fascinated by them. He loves to touch them and play with them. I am not sure why. He also loves the toilet bowl cleaner bottles and the spray bottles too. Not sure what it is about them. It was a really slow day at Target and I decided to let him play with the containers at the end of inside aisle...no one was around the entire time. This video is the shorter of the 2. It gives you the idea what he was doing for about 10mins before he decided he was done and started to scoot towards me. I had to take a picture of his final product display.

Gabriel's Baptism
Gabriel is now a little Catholic boy! I can't say "Good" since he was a little nightmare before and after the service. I was surprised he managed to make it through the actual baptism without lightning striking us inside the church. He tried to escape a few times during the service and I think by the end of the service EVERYONE knew his name. He really enjoyed the part of having the water poured over his head. He does love water. As you can see in the other photos he is miserable and crying in almost all of them
. Gabriel hit the priest when he came up to bless Gabriel on the forehead...not a good sign...sorry God. The second time the priest came around he was ready and managed to avoid injury from a 2 year old. As you will see from the birthday party video, Gabriel was once again in fine form.
Gabriel's 2nd Birthday!
As you can see, Gabriel was not enjoying his birthday. He was cranky and didn't seem to enjoy all the people celebrating his big day. The baptism earlier drained him of all his "goodness" for the day. He didn't even want the car on top of his cake! He eventually got over it and decided the cake was too tasty to pass up. Thank you all of coming and celebrating his BIG double whammy day!

Papas Home!!!!
Matthew made it home Monday morning Jan 12th. We are so happy to have Papa back home with us! We celebrated by lounging in the bed as a family. Matthew still has jet lag and by the time he acclimates himself back to EST it will be time for him to go back to Jordan! Gabriel was a bit hesitant at first, but in a few short hours he remembered his Papa well enough.
The dogs had no problems and were so happy to see him. Madison still can't believe it. She goes up to Matthew to make sure he isn't a dream. Ming and Mochi can't stop wagging their tails either. We love you Papa! Welcome home!

New Years Eve 2008
Gabriel and I stayed up and watched the Ball drop in NYC with Dick Clark. Gabriel celebrated by having a drink...his beloved milk from his bottle. He was very good and didn't fuss over the lateness of the night. Right after the new year, he went upstairs and fell asleep. Here are some photos of him a bit earlier. He is watching TV and he is picking his nose. He still has a runny nose. It is getting better. I wish I had a photo of his face after he has smeared the snot all over his hands and face. Pretty gross.
